Molly Harmon

Soprano Molly Harmon frequently performs as a soloist and chorister, collaborating with local organizations such as Amethyst Ensemble, ChoralArt, and Classical Uprising. Molly has been a singing member of Aurora Camerata since 2011 and has had the opportunity to perform as a soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah and Scarlatti’s Salve Regina, and also perform the role of Dido in Dido and Aeneas. Other recent performance highlights include performing as the soprano soloist in A Passion for the Planet with Classical Uprising, and excerpts from Bernstein’s Candide with Amethyst Ensemble. She has also been the soprano soloist in masterworks such as Mozart’s Requiem, Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem, and Orff’s Carmina Burana. She is also a regular performer in the Vigorous Tenderness outdoor concert series which amplifies music written by marginalized voices. Molly’s main passion lies in ensemble singing and chamber music and she has produced and performed in several recitals of her own featuring works such as Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs for soprano, violin, and piano. Molly resides in Portland where she has a growing voice studio.
