Ashley Wells

Ashley Wells began her harp studies at the age of 8 with Bonnie Goodrich in Houston, TX.
She continued her studies with Elizabeth Richter at Ball State University in Muncie, IN, where
she received a bachelor’s of music performance degree. During her studies at BSU, Ashley was
first prize winner of the Glenn Miller National Music Scholarship competition. She also
performed at various music festivals including Sewanee Summer Music Festival and Brevard
Music Festival. Ashley currently works as a freelance harpist in the Maine and Massachusetts
area playing for various events and weddings. She has performed with the Angelus Harp
Ensemble, The Woodlands Harp Quartet, the Muncie Symphony Orchestra, and the Bangor
Symphony Orchestra. Outside of classical harp, Ashley enjoys playing Celtic music and
composing/recording harp parts for various local indie rock projects.
