Jazmin DeRice

Jazmin DeRice, contralto, is a versatile vocal performing artist and educator. Recent performances include “Memory Bath” at the Chocolate Church Arts Center, Post Pardon: the opera with Colby College, and Dvorak’s Requiem. Jazmin was a collaborator on a new recording and installation called “Grand Revolve” with Arisa White (poet) and Robin Lane (composer, cellist), commissioned by The Indigo Arts Alliance and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. She sings with, Porchlight Ensemble, Amethyst Chamber Ensemble, is adjunct voice faculty at Bates College, and Teaching Artist at 317 Main Community Music Center. Jazmin holds a BM and MM from University of Southern Maine and Professional Studies Degree from Mannes.
